The relationships between colors
Aggressive Colors
are warm colors, like Reds, oranges and yellows. These colors tend to draw the room
toward the person making the room smaller, reducing the space; use them to lower
a high ceiling or to give a cozy feel. Mediterranean feel for
example the bold blue and orange combinations
Receding Colors are
cool colors like greens, blues, and violets (pale colors are calming).
Cool Colors gives the illusion of space. Make small rooms seem larger.
Japan feel for example the pale greens and soft
rose pink combinations.
Aromatic Colors are
colorless schemes using blacks, whites and grays.

is Neutral shades of white or grays, the most flexible of all colors; Neutral colors
do not compete with your furnishings and accessories. This color scheme can
seem stark so add a few neutral touches (Earth tones). Earth-toned colors—-Spicy
tones - browns, beiges, taupes, grays and whites—-make quiet, subtle and sophisticated
scheme.
